*The final product will be an iMovie that shows workouts that they have selected to do within their groups.This movie will show different types of workouts and what they do for your body.They will need to provide a list of resources that has helped give the students ideas throughout their projects.They will also be provided with a checklist the expectations clearly explained. They will be able to follow the checklist that lists the required elements. By providing the students with a handout that gives them exact guidelines, they are able to understand what is expected of them for their project.

Science- Types of workouts that work specific muscles. Technology- The students will be creating an iMovie showing the different types of workouts and what they do for your body.
Groupings
Students will be in groups of three or four to make their iMovies that have different types of workouts.They will be able to choose several different workouts and determining whether or not they were aerobic exercises or anaerobic exercises.While they are in their groups they will also be able to discuss how they will be breaking up the work before they begin actually making their movies.

*I will review students’ IEPs, 504s or ELLIDEPs and make the appropriate modifications and accommodations. It will make a difference with how much time the student has to complete something depending on why they have missed a class. They will need a note explaining why they have missed the class and it will be excused which will give them 2 days to turn in the work they have missed. If they cannot present a note they will only have one day to turn in the homework they have missed. It is the student’s job to ask a fellow classmate what they have missed.

*The students will be using the internet as a resource for their final products.The students will be creating an iMovie which will incorporate a Type II technology.

Students will then be put into groups to discuss the article.They will be provided with a handout that will hopefully encourage the students to really think about the article.The students will receive a KWL chart to get an idea of what they know and want to know.They will get this handout back at the end of the lesson to see what they have learned. Once students have discussed with their group about how they will go about working on their projects and also completing them, they will be able to being doing the research necessary.They will need to choose some of the workouts that they find on the internet and explain what the workouts do and how they work specific muscles and also identify what type of exercise it is.The students will be able to begin their iMovies once they have done the research and feel prepared.The students will be able to design a workout plan for a mock individual that the students have picked.They can choose someone to do a workout plan for as long as they describe the individual’s age, current weight, height, lifestyle, etc.(55 minutes) Evaluate, Tailors: Verbal, Interpersonal, Bodily/Kinesthetic
Students will be evaluated by following the checklist that has been provided.
